In the context of Mr. Loukas Triantafyllopoulos's doctoral dissertation titled "Democratizing AI-Assisted Advisory Services: Balancing Ethical Considerations in Medical Contexts" at the School of Science and Technology of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), under the supervision of Professor Dimitrios Kalles, we invite you to participate in the use and evaluation of an online application that, using generative artificial intelligence, seeks to contribute to forming a "consensus" in discussions where different opinions are expressed. Our long-term goal is to assist a group of individuals who are discussing (and, possibly, disagreeing at the beginning of the discussion) in finding a commonly accepted formulation for ethical issues in healthcare matters, but currently we are experimenting with various discussion topics.
Participation in the research is optional and anonymous. The only requirement for using the application is to create an account with a username and a password, without the need for email verification (in a later phase, we will contact you to find a suitable day and time). The research has been approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the HOU.
